What customers say?

“ We absolutely loved our meal here. The food and service was fantastic. We had the Egg & Bacon Rolls were just the right size and the Corn Fritters were the best ever, a cross between a hash brown and a corn fritter. The coffee was wonderful too. We will absolutely be making return trips to taste more of the food on the menu. ”

“ I adore this little cafe. Having my morning coffee there feels like I’m having it at home. It’s cosy and the staff are all so friendly. Definitely a family oriented place for breakfast or lunch. ”

“ A little cold outside for breakfast today so would have been better if they had external heaters. The wait was quite long for the coffees too but the French toast was quite presentable and I couldn’t finish it all. ”

“ The food was lovely! And coffee is always great. Efficient friendly service. Clean cafe. A little bit noisy because it's small and in the arcade but friendly enough. ”

“ First time trying Tilt Ryde and it’s one of my favourite cafes in Sydney. The customer service was friendly and helpful. The southern style chicken burger was one of my highlights! It was very crispy and tasty, the brioche bun goes well. I really enjoyed the corn fritters as it was crispy and the smoke salmon wasn’t too salty. The breakfast wrap was yummy with the chorizo. The servings are very generous. The matcha latte was smooth. The coffee is also good. The mango smoothie tasted fresh. The food here is very delicious! I’m would highly recommend to try this cafe as I would be coming back here again. ”

“ Nice little cafe in a quieter area of North Ryde. Good bread and nicely cooked scrambled eggs. Bacon was also very tasty. Orange juice is freshly squeezed and delicious. Good quality cafe, good service, couldn’t ask for anything more from a local cafe ”

“ OVERALL COMMENT: The quality, quantity and price of the meals was positively received. The quality of the ingredients was an impressive standout feature. Deviations from the menu were unexpected and not communicated. Staff and service were pleasant. Atmosphere was calm and quiet; surprising in consideration to the small size. Pillows for the bench would have been nice, buts that’s a minute matter. COMPANION COMMENT: Eggs Benedict + Hot Chocolate The ingredients were fresh and of high quality. While the focaccia was a positive deviation, the meal was advertised as being served on English Muffins. Alterations to a menu item and its contents can be an improvement from the original advertisement, however, notice to customers beforehand is crucial. The ‘sandwich’ like arrangement was too dense, it required configuration which was a messy and inconvenient undertaking. Overall the meal was a positive balance between cost, quantity and quality. MY COMMENT: Big Breakfast + Chai Latte The meal was served hot and fresh. All of the ingredients were of a high calibre. The GF bread exceeded the standard that is commonly produced by cafes. Each element was proportionate to one another, and while this creates an appeal to reduce the overall serving, this cafe did not succumb to such. A drawback was the single strip of bacon. The Chai Latte was served to be a Sticky Chai instead. The Sticky Chai was wonderful tasting, but due to it not being advertised as such, it must be appropriately considered. The cost ($23 + $2 for GF), the quality of ingredients and portions were highly impressive and appreciated. ”
